MEDIA RELEASE: CAM SINCLAIR BACK TO HIS DOUBLE BACK-FLIPPING WAYS ON NITRO CIRCUS TOUR

Former X Games gold and silver medalist Cam Sinclair has once again, proved why his is the master of the double back flip by landing his signature trick, at the Sydney leg of the world famous ‘Nitro Circus Live’ tour last weekend.

“Landing the double again was a great weight off my shoulders. It’s a trick that I never ever get used to. You go so high and rotate so fast – it will always be scary for me.”

Sinclair sustained a badly broken femur in Las Vegas last year, putting him on the sidelines once again. He had a large rod and screws implanted to help speed up his recovery to just 12 weeks off his YZ250 motorcycle.

The 28 year old from Pearcedale is no stranger to injury and comebacks. Having suffered near fatal injuries in an accident whilst competing in Madrid, Spain, he managed to recover and win the X Games, almost exactly a year later.

So amazing was his story, that a feature length documentary has recently been released on DVD and iTunes, entitled “TWICE – THE CAM SINCLAIR STORY.”

Only four people in the world have ever land a motorcycle double back flip safely. The first being American action sports legend Travis Pastrana in 2006. Sinclair became the first ever Australian to complete the task, in 2008. He has landed more than anyone else in the world.

The Nitro Circus Live Tour hits Sinclair’s home-town of Melbourne, this Friday, Saturday and Sunday; where he will attempt to double back flip once again for his home town fans.

“I’m really excited to ride this weekend in front of my family and friends. I’ve always had so much support in Melbourne, it really is my favorite place in the world!”

The Nitro Circus Live Tour is touted, ‘the greatest action sports show ever produced’ and includes some of the worlds best action sports athletes in Freestyle Motocross, BMX and skateboarding.
